There are some confusions, some don't understand that Lively and wallpapers are separate things. I'm just sharing the wallpaper on deviantart, many are not comfortable(?) with it.Ĭurrently I did not make a easy to use animation system for lively, all wallpapers are webpage and you need some coding experience to get started (1) is not helping with this. I don't like Lively being called a free wpe alternative - I would like Lively to be called Lively. Lively is probably not the best name, it does not come up easily on search I also don't want to use existing software like wallpaper engine/rainmeter name added to Lively's name to make it more discoverable. If you check my post history you will see that I only shared about Lively in r/rainmeter subreddit and many there already uses wallpaper engine.
